• Bought in spring when it was 10 cm tall
• Planted out in August, to a location previously occupied by a butterfly bush

Just as the buds were beginning to open, a clumsy cat (I presume) ripped off two of the branches. So I planted them, and now I have 3 plants if they all survive. One of the wounds wasn't a clean break so I used a DIY knife to make a tidier cut. The only other thing I did to the wounds was rinse once with water and they took a couple of weeks to dry out, maybe this was longer than normal due to wet weather.
