Pasta

  • Microwave Pasta Cooker or do it the laborious way
  • frozen edamame beans
    • these can be heated along with the pasta, use a brand that is pre-blanched and only needs a few minutes of heat
  • salt
    • leftover brine from garlic stuffed olives works really well
  • optionally add frozen whelks

Sauce

  • sichuan oil (stir into pasta first)
    • with dried minced roasted garlic or spice mix
  • red pesto
  • apple cider vinegar
  • hot headz who dares burns chilli sauce
    • i use about 4 drops
  • anchovy paste sparingly, or not at all if using whelks
  • fennel seed

Topping

  • sprinkly cheese
  • coarse pepper
  • fried onion
